Default Simulators

I'm asking my family to purchase a flight simalator for me for x-mass. With Great planes new 3.5 version out and hanger 9's FS one on the market, has anyone tried both and come up with what is the best? I fly mostly electric, if that makes any difference

Default RE: Simulators

From what I've seen the FS2 is probably the better of the two sims. However, the system requirements are pretty high for the FS2 as compared to RealFlight.
You can also find a few suggestions on simulator do's and don't's on [link=http://2ndrcflightschool.com/simulator_tips.htm]Flight Sim Tips[/link]
