great planes j3 electricub
this is going to be my first plane. I am getting it all built right now ( i got a kit) the build is going good right now. Is there anyone else out there with this plane that could give me some hints when it comes to building the plane or setting it up. I am going to take lessons in april at my local rc plane club.

Would be good to approach club.
Then maybe a club member could give you advice to make sure your wing is as well constructed and covered as possible.
I do not have your Cub but I have a World Models Cub. They are nice little planes. Will your plane have flaps or flaperon capability?
