Airplanes for dummies.
As a newbie I would like to start out by learning the proper names of the differant parts and location on a plane.
Also, on a standard radio, What lever does what? Does any site have this info already?

Check out www.towerhobbies.com They are a sponsor of these RCUniverse and have been a great supplier of everything R/C for the past 20+ years. They have lots of beginner information, including an index or dictionary of R/C terms.

Good question, and something I was confused about at first, too. The set of several wires with the white cap goes to a balance charger which can individually charge each of the different cells in the lipo battery.

Also, I read in the manual of my ESC, that you should install 'motor suppressors' on the electric motor ... what are those and how does that work ? (If I'm correct, thenn the picture below is a picture of the back of an electric motor with 3 motor suppressors attached to it)

It depends on the charger. If you get a more expensive balancing charger, you'll connect it to the white connector. I'm using a cheaper charger that connects to the Deans connector (a big blocky connector with just two wires that's pretty common for batteries nowadays) and charges all three batteries simultaneously. It's ok to charge the battery using the two-wire connector, especially when they're new. Over time, if you don't balance the batteries, you won't get a full charge out of them because one of the cells might not be fully charged.
I'm no expert on batteries, so if someone more knowledgeable wants to speak up, please do.
