Is yours the "EP" or a convert to EP? This plane looks great. Also What power system are you running.

Sorry, I haven't replied sooner. I've had my Seniorita over 2 years now, so I will have to go back and check my numbers. It is a kit, and I must say it is fun to build if you don't mind gluing balsa sticks together. The advantage of building is that you can have it your way! I installed a dozen or so LEDs for night flying, and it's also been a kick to thermal out with the hawks. I believe the motor is a AXI 2820-12 and my guess is the prop is a 10x7 APC. My plane is real sporty with ~250 watts, but when I just cruise around, it's <100W. In fact, a lot of time my throttle is off! The Seniorita will spoil you; you will start to expect all planes to fly as well!

I've flown mine with a 0.19 PAW diesel, but I want to convert it to a 400W electric - I reckon my Mega 600/20/8 on 4s with a 12x6 APC E might do the trick.

Oh yeah, you will have fun with that one! I double checked my numbers, and I am running 300W with a 10x7 APC at full throttle. This give me just enough power to do an outside loop! You could do a quick climb out and just glide around catching thermals, fly inverted, etc. With 400W, the Seniorita is much more than a trainer plane. Have fun!

The plane will be here at the end of May. Here is the Link http://www.sigmfg.com/IndexText/SIGRC60ARF.html. I am thinking of doing a power 32 60A ESC and 3200mah 4S battery.

I'd bolt the wings on if I were you! At potentially 800W I reckoned the whole machine might need to be glassed!

No, no, no..... it is a good thing to have plenty of power... I was just stirring you up! Just use the left stick carefully.

I plan on using a Scorpion SII 3014-1040 400-600 watt motor. I have all the gear now but I am have second thoughts about the Kadet Seniorita, I have a Pulse XT 40 that I am just learning to fly and wonder if it will be a step backwards as the KS is a trainer.

I think it would not teach you that much, but from what I understand this plane is a joy to fly (at least the gas version). I learned to fly on a electristar and moved up to a Pulse XT my self. I love my pulse and take it out almost everytime I go out. I am working with someone who is just learning to fly, right now he flys my electristar. He wants his own plane and this looks like a perfect .40 EP trainer.

So is mine. I also have a power 46. I use either 4s2p 4600mah A123 packs or 5s2p 6000 mah lipos. It sure flys fast on the 5s lipos.
