Default Estarter, tirger moth or sky scooter 2 pro

Ok I have decided to get the hitec flash 5 with the 3 micro servos and the 555 5 channel reciever so i can use it with a "better" plane in the future. I have been flying an aerobird for a few weeks and mastered it, I am not sure which plane to get next, wanna add alerons(dont mind my bad spelling).. E-starter, tiger moth or sky scooter2 pro? any input would be greatly appreciated !

I looked at all of these for my first plane (and also the superstar ep - balsa .40 size, converted to electric - I thought balsa might be too much repair work for my first plane though), and decided on the e-starter, simply because it was a conventional trainer type plane with ailerons. I decided against the tigermoth (GWS tigermoth anyway) because it was too light - won't fly well in the wind (it might make a nice second plane though, for when the wind is light). The skyscooter looked like a viable option, but after reading some comments on it, it seemed to have a very short flight time - I still may pick one up though, just because it's a cool looking plane. However, if you do a search for the e-starter, I think you will find it highly recommended, and will find only a few negative comments about it - it's just a good fun airplane...

I bought an E-Starter for my first, and completely love it. LOVE those ailerons ! I built a Tiger Moth as my second plane. I have yet to fly it. Hopefully, the weather will cooperate tomorrow.

Just from peering into the box at the LHS, the e-starter looks pretty good. If you look around the E-zone, I think there have been some problems with the aft fuselage, so you may want to strengthen it while building. Do a search and see what you find.

Thanks.

I've been a 'car guy' since I can remember, but I really enjoy the airplanes, too. The E-Starter is an excellent aileron trainer. I can even do some loops with it.

I just finished the maiden flight of my Tiger Moth. That little joker rocks. It flies very nicely. I highly recommend it.

Soon, I'll have an RC airplane page linked in my sig.
As soon as I get over my current laziness. hehe

You should be able to. They're side-by-side, I assume.
Uou can use 2/3AA or AAA batteries.

does the mah matter? I keep reading where it reccomended for up to 450 mah for this plane. 900 mah wont hurt it?

Well, the mah will be just fine.
I use 600s now, and am building some 900s.

What it is, is that the weight of the higher-capacity batts
is a bit higher than the others. However, I feel this may
be worth the trade-off.

Go for it.
