RE: BEC question

The Red and black wire go to the battery and I prefer to use a deans connector here on the other side of the ESC are 3 wires they go to the motor if it is spinning the wrong way just reverse any 2 and motor will rotate other way the other wire plugs into the number 3 port on your rx and thats the power supply for your rx and servos so you wont need another power source ,,,always turn you tx on before you plug battery into ESC but make sure your throttle control is set to low otherwise it will woop you on plugging it in hope this helps some guys in our club put a switch in the cicuit between battery and ESC but thats not an option for me

RE: BEC question

One nice thing about glow, you can see the carb barrel open or closed, as you set throttle in normal or reverse direction, so WOT is WOT. I guess it's hit or miss with any electric motor. Make sure if your transmitter is selected for the model in use. Don't mount a prop until you know which way the motor is turning on new installations, unless you rather hold on tight.
