Hi,

What is the best Flight Simulator for Elec park flyer plane?

I had Real flight G2 and some add onit sucks so badI never used it.
I used clearview demo and it's not smooth on my system
Phoenix demo impressive with grafix
FMS Ok but cant use my DX6i for more accurate control.

Pentium 4 3.4
1 gig mem
Radeon X800 XT 256mem PCIEX
I have a Quad Core gaming machine that I build but don't want to go back and port with PC.

I'm happy with Phoenix, though I basically just use to to practice a few small things as I learn new pattern sequences. I have an oldish laptop (1.2ghz processor, minimal graphics card) and it runs OK.

You can go online and fly with other people from all over the world which is cool. Pretty neat to see other guys from the pattern forum on there practicing. You can talk to them, too, and crash into them and stuff if you feel up to it, lol.

Price is good, free updates/add-ons. I use my own controller.

Didn't really like Realflight, mostly because they rob you with expansion packs. Didn't really like FSOne either.

I'm really sold on the graffix of Phoenix.
I would like to get opinion on someone who have used the Phoenix and other Simulator.
How much differnceandaccurate arethePhysics from other Simulator?
I wantto focust onflyingsmall plane, larger plane aremore stableto fly base on my experience.

I like the physics of Phoenix. I used aeroflight pro deluxe and find all the planes too floaty. Realflight physics is pretty good I think. I've used clearview, FMS, FSOneand a few others.

With Phoenix, you can change the CG, throws, pretty much anything you want on the plane. You can tweak the physics, too. I personally find Phoenix to be the best.

Obviously, they're all simulators - they're not real, as much as we'd like them to be.

I'm surprised to hear that ClearView didn't run well on your PC. I have Real Flight G5.5, ClearView, FMS, and EasyFly 3 SE. I've found the flight physics on ClearView to be the most accurate of the bunch. ClearView doesn't have particularly demanding system requirements, however, and it should have run buttery-smooth on your PC.

I can't imagine you'd be unhappy with the Phoenix flight simulator. Folks seem really happy with it.

     I just bite the bullet and got a Phoenix R/C Pro Flight Simulator 3.0.
My thought is that it can be had for $60 since most of games are sold for $60.
Can some one tell me if Simulator is harder to make?

I think it has to do with the dongle, which is included to make it almost impossible to copy and redistribute.

I think the package with the extra radio is a pretty cool deal - you get a REAL 5ch computer radio from Spektrum for an extra $45 or something. Really great for those of you that fly JR/Spektrum.

I considered getting it, and should have. My radio is in for service (second time I've been without a radio) and I've got no spares. Granted the 5ch Spektrum can only fly the planes I generally don't want to fly, at least I'd have something, and be able to use my simulator.
