flight field question!
 

alright i have a dx5e transmitter and a t-28 micro pkz plane and say i would like to join my local club and fly at their field. how will everyone fly without radio interference? I dont quite understand the whole radio frequency stuff. how does the flight field work?

The Dx radios don't interfere with each other.

In the days of 72mhz there was a pin for each "channel" and you had to have the pin for your channel or you didn't turn the radio on. 2.4GHz systems pick an open channel when they turn on and dont cause problems for other 2.4 radios and they are way above the 72mhz stuff in frequency so they wont bother those bands either.

In simple terms, this is correct. With 2.4 GHz radios you don't have to worry about frequency control.

to add to the above, your radio has a unique id code. when you "bind" the radio and the receiver, the receiver stores this code and only listens for instructions coming from that radio. Even if another 2.4 Ghz were to be on the same frequency, your radio can tell the difference between the two and only take instructions from your radio. That is why we "bind" our radios and receivers. Your blue tooth headset for your phone works the same way.
