Transmitter question

Can I fly electric planes using a regular RC tx like my JR XP8103?

That looks liks a great radio. You'll just need a lightweight receiver and servos. I really like my Berg receiver and GWS Pico BB servos.

That's correct. There is nothing special about the signals the micro R/C gear receives. Any transmitter that's legal to fly airplanes is "legal" to fly electric airplanes. Just make sure that the receivers you buy are JR/Airtronics compatible.

Bill,

How's it going? I haven't seen you at the field (of course I have missed a few good days myself) recently. I'm pretty sure you can use the 8103 with any JR compliant RX... You can buy the GWS, FMA RX's for JR, just let the sales person know you fly JR. Talk to you later.

Dennis
