SIG Kadet EP-42 Considered a Park Flyer?
Hi. I'm considering getting one these as an alternative to my glow-powered plane for convenient flying at a nearby large school yard. Is it considered a park flyer?
Thanks. |
RE: SIG Kadet EP-42 Considered a Park Flyer?
I just purchased a Kadet EP 42, I don't know the answer to your question myself. Sorry no one has answered, I'd like to know the answer myself.

The Kadet could be flown in a large park, but it certainly is not in the category of a Slow Stick type aircraft. I actually recommend flying it from a regular model airplane field, especially if you modify it by using a brushless motor like I do! BTW, it is a great flyer, and capable ao decent aerobatics with the addition of a good powerplant--- I use a Mega 400 brushless and 3 cell LiPoly . Have fun!!!

I use a Mega 400 brushless and 3 cell LiPoly I'm new to all this. My son, who flies much better than me, has a Kadet EP wants to move up. I'm wondering how to upgrade this plane. Thanks. |
RE: SIG Kadet EP-42 Considered a Park Flyer?
I use a Jeti JES045 controller and a 9x5 prop, direct (no gearbox) The motor is a 6turn Mega 400 brushless, and a 1500 3 cell Lipo. Works great Hobby Lobby International carries all the stuff.
Good luck and "keep 'em flying"! Bill :D |
