parkzone 8.4v 600mah max charge rate
 
the book says on page 3 the max charge rate is .8 then on page 4 it says the max is .9 i talked to a 15 year flight veteran he said 1 amp would be ok. at what rate are you other people charging this same batt pack. thanks for any reply.

1 amp would be OK. It would charge faster, but you may want to charge it at around .8 since I think the battery may last a little longer that way.

I charge mine at 1 amp, I've got 50 or so cycles on one of my packs at this rate and its still as good as day 1..

The basic rule is not to exceed 1.5X the battery rating. Therefore, a 600mah battery should not be charged at more than 900ma (0.9A). Any faster and the battery could be damaged.

You can charge most NI-MH's up to 2C with non problems. Main thing is to watch the heat during charging.
