Scales and Balancing....

...what do you folks use to weigh your airplanes? Also, what do you use to find the center of gravity to balance the plane properly? Links to specific products (if available) would be greatly appreciated. :)

Many thanks.
Bob

There are many ways to weigh a plane, I use a old style postal letter /pakage scale. I think a lot of people use kitchen scales, like for weighing meat

Or, do what most of us do -- place a finger under each wing and see where your plane balances!

RE: Scales and Balancing....

I use a 10 lb electronic scale I bought from Staples. I'm not sure what I paid for it but I think it was around $100.00. As far as CG, all kits show you what the CG should be. There are also some calculations you can make to figure where the CG should be but I can't tell you how to do it, I've never had to figure it out.
