Flaps on Tail of Firebird Freedom

I was checking out my plane before a flight and I noticed that when I push the stick up or down I seem to get more movement out of one side of the tail than the other. Does anyone know if this is normal?

I have noticed that it has been harder to control but I think it is because it has been too windy.

Any thoughts?

Check and see if the "hinges" of the control surfaces are still bonded to the base foam surfaces well.

Check also control lines/rods for correct adjustment/tension.

How do I adjust the tension?

There is no tension adjustment on the Freedom. Ensure that the attachment points for the control rods are the same on each control horn. Make sure both control horns are securely locked in place. You can tighten them up by pushing the clip on the bottom.
