brand new to electric flying 2 newbie questions

Hello to all I have a couple of questions.

what is the best way to mount a battery on a flat fuselage plane. and if I need to be able to swap it for a second battery after
flight how is that accomplished? also what type of small receiver does everyone recommend? I bought a park flier type
biplane at the san diego electric fly in last weekend. thank you,

Gary

Velcro is your friend. Not the kind that is two separate pieces. The kind where the front of the strip sticks to the back of the strip.
Any name brand small receiver is fine. Futaba, Hitec, Jr, Tower Hobbies, Great Planes (electrifly)

The velcro tip is good. Rubber bands can work well too if you can find a way to mount hold down points.

I like Hitec's receivers. The Hitec Micro 05S, $40 with crystal, .3 oz, 1 mile range, channels 1,2,3,4 6. Works great!

Bigger but better is the Hitec Electron 6, full 6 channels, .6 ounces, dual conversion, aobut $65 with crystal. 1 mile range

I hear great things about Berg Microstamp.

Hope that helps.
