tiger moth as first eletric
 
i have had a cox ez bee for a few years, never rally got to fly it more than a few times. but some time ago i saw a tiger moth fly and was just ooo and aaa ed about it.

so i got one, i am still wating on the tx and rx to come in.

when i saw it fly it was sooo slow, which is goo i want to fly it in the back yard. but are there any things i need to watch for or things o need to do to get my self back into the world of flying?

I want to get a Tigermouth but not sure which one to purchase for a beginner.

i got the small one not the new 400, gws pico tiger moth is the on i got.

the ony thing is this plane looks and feels frigal so i will try to carfull with it.but nothing gue can't fix

I know someone who learned on the small TM. It sure didn't look pretty after a while, but he learned. If you choose that plane to learn on, just make sure you fly it in calm wind conditions.

What I'm hinting at, is don't get too attached to the cute little plane. :)

The Slow Stick was my first RC Plane. Never flown a bipe, so can't comment any further.

tm 400 not good to learn on for sure. The little one im not sure. I learned on hobbyzone super cub.

I taught myself to fly on the GWS Pico Tiger Moth.

There are two keys to success, which apply to all beginning pilots, no matter what plane you are flying.
1. Make your first flights in calm conditions. Do not be tempted to try it in even a light breeze.
2. Find a large, wide open area for your first flights. You want to be able to take off and then fly some distance in a straight line before you make your first turn. This gives you time to trim the plane for level flight and gain some altitude before turning.

I started at a field that was too small, and I had nothing but crashes before I got smart and found a large field. It made all the difference!
