Radio + motor interference?

I have recently returned to the model aircraft hobby. As I was attracted by the electric models and the RTFs. My latest an ARTF is a ‘Superfly Delta’ the servos and v tail mixer came from the supplier of the Superfly. The brushless ESC that is an e-fly came from a local model shop. It has a brushless BM 2408-21 attached, and the battery is a Lipo 2C 1100. I am using the radio that I took from my Wing Dragon 4.
The problem that I am having is that when I check the elevons, with the TX. Left, Right, up, or down the motor blips a few revs. I have also noticed that when I do a range test the range seems to be reduced with the antenna retracted. I normally can get at least 40 yards like this with the Wing Dragon 4, before I get the controls fluttering
I thought that it could be the reduced volts of the Lipo. So I tried the Nimh that came with the WD4 and I get the same effect. Any one got any idea on why this is. I will not fly until I get this sorted.

Check the antenna routing out of the plane. Make sure it is away from as much as possible to reduce the possibility of interference.
