You could hook it up along with an amplifier, sound source And speaker for the full effect. Make sure the smoke smells like JP5.

airshow anything is poss. you will need a heating coil to get the smoke oil to smoke. the size and energy required from a battery would be way to high for an edf. you might be able to use a small steam powered engine boiler. isntead of water use smoke oil and have it vent in the tail of the edf. if make the exit hole small enough might be able to get a sort jet sound. the only problem again is weight.
the best idea is to use a small smoke bomb bought at fireworks stands still will need a well set up SS steal box to hold all the heat in and not kill the plane.

I think it would be much easier to just light it on fire, then take off.
Just kidding, smoke on an EDF would be cool. Don't tell anyone
in this thread, but I think EDF's are the ONLY cool electric planes.
