Question please: need answer.
I have a new in box world models mustang p51 40 ep, and will like to assemble the plane and converted to glow, any ideas?
Also the plane request the use of miniservos, could they be regular servos?

Well the instructions said nothing about servo size ......... but ............
But if it calls for mini-servos the you would probably need to do some modifications to the servo tray/mounting area in order for it to accept Std servos.

Mini servos ( not to be confused with Micro Servos ) are often just as torque capable as standard servos.
Most replacement mini servos are in the 30oz/in range or up, which is fine for any 40 size plane.
At worst you could replace them with high torque mini servos but I doubt you'll really need to unless you are planning on flying the plane MUCH faster than it was designed for.
