Great Planes Super Sportster48" to Norvel 0.40glow conversion

I had converted my Super sportster to 0.40 Norvel glow power.
Had to do some modifications (cut firewall ) and put battery and receiver in the fuselage behind the canopy. Here are some pictures. Can you say UNLIMITED VERTICAL! Now have to fix the elevator due to the flatter. It sounded like a semitrailer was hitting on the j-brake. Have HS 81 MG on the rudder and elevator and hs81 on the ailerons and throttle. Put hobby king 750mah A123 for the receiver. Here are some pictures. Still need to finish the cowl and the fuel tank hatch. |

i converted my super sportster ep to a magnum .25 and it is a great flying plane. the cosl went on well and the plane gets a lot of attentin because of how well it flys. i dont take the creditl i lost the firwall taking off on a typical 30 mph windy day in Ls Vegas where i live, and a friend offfered to convert the planel i didnt realize what i ws getting into when i said sure, go ahead. i have never loked back and the differnece n how this plane flew stock vs. aftehr the conversion prompted me to totally drop all my considerablo eefforts at electric fight and i hae gne nitro all the way i lov ethis plane . i had to dead stick so many times i cannot remember and the plane doesnt have ascratch on her.. i have over a hundred flights just this year and she stays up and at mostly full throttle for over fifteen minutes. i smile every time i land.
