AWESOME! I purchased a engine from av8tor1977 and it's a work of art. I can't tell you enough how pleased and satisfied I am with this engine. Excellent craftsman ship! He went the extra for me and I highly recommend him. The engine came with a polished prop hub, and a upgraded carb wich he didn't have to do. The muffler was paiinted and the throttle was set up for a ball link ready to install. The engine is clean like it just came off the production line. Communication was excellent and I even received a phone call from him letting me know the engine was complete. What more can I ask for. In addition, the price was second to none, and I will be doing business with him in the future. He is extremely knowledgeable with these little engines and takes pride in what he does. It's obvious with the engine I received. If anyone is looking for a engine conversion look up av8tor1977 you will be pleased.

Thank you av8tor1977!

Thanks,
-Gary

Was it supplied with an ignition? If so, what type of engine was it and what kind of ignition?
Looking for a 30cc or greater size myself for an older Golberg Sukhoi kit I haven't built yet. It must be 10 years old by now, waiting patiently for the right engine. I have alot of Ryobi engines but they are too long with the mount to fit without tons of modifications to the airframe. A Poulan 46 would be great if I could find one.

For my application I wanted a magneto ignition, however the options are there. rcxl cdi etc. My particular engine is a stihl 27cc. There are others available as well, echo etc.I would encourage you to get with av8tor1977 and let him know what you are looking for. He will get with you and hook you up with what you want. Fast shipping as well with insurance.

Just had the pleasure of opening a box of engines I purchased from AV8TOR. He did a pair of 44cc ECHOs for a twin project Im working on, amazing machining on the polished prop hubs and the timing ring for the ignition. Both started on first flip and run great. Excellent guy to work with, very professional and knowledgeable. Highly recommend him if you need a quality engine at a great price.

I bought 2 homelite 25cc engines unconverted form Av8tor for a great price. I already had prop hubs for both engines. After rebuilding the carbs both engines run excellent. I have not tached them but they do run strong with a 16X8 prop. I have a 18X6 on one and it turns it well however the 16 inch seems to be best.

They weight 5 pounds even with all casting on them. An electronic ignition system could save me 10 ounces.

Av8tor is a good guy to deal with on engines and ships them to you quickly!

I recently purchased a 32cc Stihl Four Mix Four Stroke that av8tor converted for aircraft use. Robert dos excellent work on these conversion engines. This one required a carburetor modification, as set-up stock, they lean out on the top end. So not only is the engine converted, it’s also set-up to go right off the bat! I’ll tell you, this is going to be a perfect engine for a ¼ scale Balsa USA Newport or PUP. I’ve bench run it and it swings a Xoar 18/6 with authority! I need to pick up a new tack so no numers, but this one is ripp'in my 18/6, might even go 19!!! Robert was also very helpful in providing technical info on the engine itself, and the carb modifications required. He has my recommendation to anyone looking for a good engine. And BTW, his prices are very reasonable, Mike.

I picked up a 21cc echo from Robert this past summer. I recently had an issue with the coil, and Robert had me up and running in no time. I can't say enough good things about him and his conversions.

I've got a good number of happy customers I am happy to say. Now that the forum is all re-done and I am starting over with zero market feedback points, could I bother you guys to give me some new market feedback? I am going to try to get some more engines ready to sell, and some positive market feedback would be a good thing to have.

Thanks!!

Under your avitar it shows 0 feedback, but if you go into your public profile your feedback from your buyers or people you bought from is still there.Mine is.Maybe RCU tech should work on getting feedback scores back.

Absolutely a pleasure to deal with. I sent him a brillelli 46 that wouldn't run at all, I couldn't get it to start, or even fire at all. I sent the engine to Robert and without much history to go on, he got it running and I mean it runs perfect. This gentleman knows engines. Thanks again.

I contacted Av8tor 1977 about the Stihl 65cc 4 strokes he was making available.
He rebuilt it, installed CDI, timed it, provided spare parts, instructions and more data than I can shake a prop at.

With nothing more than a request for his help he treated me like a long lost best friend.
I can't say enough about him, his work and the way he took care of me.
Always in contact, nothing happened without outstanding communication.

I hope to buy more of his engines, specifically another one (or two) of the 30/35cc Stihl 4 strokes.

Not biased, just recognizing one of the best,
R.C.
