Default Echo 30.1 Chainsaw hub?

I'm starting to convert a 30.1CC Echo chainsaw engine. My question is does the prop hub HAVE to thread into the crankshaft? I'm thinking about machining a prop hub that bolts to the flywheel using the starter dog holes already there. Seems like Zenoah and Fuji use this concept already.

The bolt on type creates a little more effort to assure alignment.

Most of the prop drivers are setup to just fit over the crankshaft. They then use a bolt through the center to hold it on. Usually they have woodruff keys in there too. Bolting it on is fine, if you can keep it centered OK.
