45cc Homelite mount bolts

Default 45cc Homelite mount bolts

what size bolts or screws do you use to hold the mount to the fire wall?

Try to use 1/4-20 if you can.

Since we are on the topic of mount bolts, what about for a Ryobi 31cc, see attached pic for details. Has anyone got away by utilizing the # 10 - 24 bolts. Or is the majority of folks mounting with the next size up, 1/4 bolt? I apologize in advance for sneaking my question in here.

I've used the 10-24's. I never had any trouble with them but they do look a little on the light side.

If memory serves, the engine to mount are 10-24's ...
#12 is the intermediate bolt size going up towards 1/4". Think they are the size used to hold muffler on. Finding #12 cap screws or a high grade has been difficult. If anyone has a good source maybe you could share source.
