[*] The glow fuel carbs work terrible on gasoline. They are too sensitive.
[*] You have to run a higher oil content in your gasoline because of the bushed connecting rod.
[*] People have converted the rods to needle bearings but then the crankpin fail prematurly
[*] The best deal is to run ignition and keep the glow fuel. They seem to run real smoothly.
[*] Power is down noticably with gasoline compared to glow fuel.[ul]

if you soften the crankpin a bit with a torch, you can turn it down and press on the appropriate inner race for the needle baring.... then it holds up fine... you can run 50:1 mix
"Power is down noticably with gasoline compared to glow fuel."
once the oil mix is down, and a nice walbro is mounted up front, the power comes back.... my ST3000 turns within 150 rpm on gas with an 18-6 now as compared to 10% glow fuel....

Thanks guys for the input. My understanding is the Moki is aconverted to a MVVS and now to the Evo line of motors. but they want a fortune for these. Thanks Rich
