Big 4st. needed for a 33% Super Cub
Howdy.
I have been reading with great interest about the converted 4 cycle motors out in RC land. I thought I would ask a few Q's before I proceed.
Plane in question: World models 33% Super Cub. AUW approx 28-35#
Several are flying with G-62's. Why can't it also fly with a big 4 banger? And the sound... quite tasty i bet...
Looking at the Stihl 65cc 4 stroke. I must confess that I am not ruling out other motors, that one just came to mind.
Questions:
Is somebody converting & selling to individuals or are individuals tracking down the motors & sending to someone to be converted?
Obviously there are several talented individuals that are converting there own. I will not be one of them. LOL
Are there other motors out there that are suitable for my application?
Any leads, advice, rants or raves will be taken to heart!
Thanks in advance for any information.
