Tusar,
im on my second set of blades and have not had any other damage and that was because i was flying outside and the wind picked up a bit i couldnt get the heli back,i managed to land it but as i touched down it flopped over on its side and there went the blades, not to sturdy.no more outside for me until i upgrade. As for your heli veering off have you tried adjusting the trims on the TX?I would try that first to level the swashplate and take it from there..

The swashplate part is important,
It has to be balanced,
You will have to use only slight adjustments,
one or two clicks

HELP ! ! ! ![&o]

Last night i was flying in tight circles and accelerating a bit.. next thing the blades touch and now its screwed !!!!!!

the Bottom gear is turing in a "wobble" and every time I try lift off it veers violently left or right.

I adjusted the proportional fully in both directions.. NOTHING!.. i took the blades and body off... adjusted the left/right servo linkage arm.. now the Green light is red !!!!!![:@]

I re-adjusted the servo arm length.. put it all back together and nothing changed (except now its a green light.. when lifting off it pulls hardd laft, corect it and is veers right !

what should I do.. i think the shaft is bent.. i'll get the extension tday I hope.. but why wont it renmain stable???

PM me if you can as well (and reply)

yeah, the other way to solve this problem is to expose the antenna of the rx out of the canopy! i got this info from one of the forums i've been to (long time ago can't remember what was it) before i got my v4. I have no glitching issues at all after bringing the antenna out of the body!
hope this will help.

i had a look at almost every part.. i got fed-up so i bought the Extreme shaft extension upgrade.. 3 hours of pulling a chopper appart and giving it a new spne in it... the drive gear for the upper rotor now turns true, and it flies perfectly.

i even landed on one of my sons toys.. not much larger than the choppers skit footprint.

its not easy pullling that shaft out.. let me tell you.... but in the end brute force prevailed.. and ts perfect.

it flies well with the new upgrade.. but i still managed to touch the bladeswhen flying sideways and coming to a quick stop.

i'm in New Zealand.. it just so hapens I live about 3/4 miles from one of the largest RC dealers in the country.. so all good
have you called in at a rc shop at all?.. the one near me has almost every part for lama v4.. so i'm happy..
(they had a good laugh at the way i managed to bend the shaft in mid-air)

www.rcbandit.co.nz

if I were you try order directly from E-sky USA or Walkera (Walkera, New Zealand actually stocks E-sky parts)... and its 30% cheaper than retail price.. so i'm not very happy bout the prive i paid for the lama.

Another thing:

I like the look of the V3 more than the V4, but i want to know if they are exactly the same heli, or which is better, cause if they're the same i might swap over frames and convert to a V3....sorta

I was gonna do the Xtreme V3 conversion, but it seems a little expensive

Any ideas?

V3 vs V4 Vs R22 .. whats the difference??
I know v3 has 3 servo's.. but on youtube i saw a v3 vs v4 race.. and one was drastically faster..

i have the r22 (4 channel) .. which is closest..??

all i do is ask for the bit that fits this heli... so i dont have a parts problem..

[&:]which is faster, more powerful etc etc.. whats the differences?????

make sure all trims are set to zero, and throttle set to zero before plugging in battery to Heli.

also.. make sure Xtr is ON before you plug in Heli, do a pre-plug in check, that the body is sitting properly on the frame (my r22 has a habbit of "riding high" and interfering with the moving parts.

also expose the aerial a bit more from the airframe (i havnt proven this one myself yet)

if not.. re-charge the battery and start again
