To get more forward motion u must add weight (piece of tape or blue tack) to the front of the unit,
This will give you the forward motion

I use a #1 size paperclip bent to fit the nose of these, and FF is pretty smooth. The added weight does reduce flight time down to about 5 - 6 minutes tho

A slingshot works pretty well. Seriously, I have had good results with adding weight to the nose like Arrow and E-Sky recommend. Consider moving up to a coax (dual rotor) heli such as the Esky Lama V4, E-Flite Blade CX2, or Helimax EZ if you want even better performance.

Good luck, good flying and welcome to RCU!

be careful when adding weight to the front not to pucture the lipo in the front of the heli. You probably have about 1/4 to 3/8" thick of foam from the nose of the heli to the battery =)
