A 25c pack will be okay but I agree with BikerDude you need more tuning of the heli.

You should be albe to hover with minimum inputs.
And a lot more room.

@biker dude & disney: thanks guys, i actually felt contained while hovering it..

I also noticed that it responded with huge amount of action with very little stick movement from me, I still use the stock radio so I guess I will have to get used to it. The servo horns does not have any other hole options to lessen the travel throw...

Where do I tune from here?

Thanks guys!

You want to makle sure teh Swash Plate is level, use a gauge not by eye.
Set the Gyro tail rotor so that you do not have to put in any input to hover, or at least very little.
THe trim the ehli in hover to hold relativly still using the trims on teh radio.

Here is a link to me hovering with a well trimmed Belt CP http://www.youtube.com/user/pattr007.../1/PT90bI_sce0

Took lots of short hops to get the trim set on teh tail rotor.
You trim the tail by setting teh trim onb the radio to center on the rudder and then slide teh servo mounts 1mm at a time till you get the heli to be very straght with very little trim.

Hi Guys,
Hows everyone been? I finally got my DX6I this past Saturday and am in the process of setting it up. I'm waiting on a motor right now and a few other things.
Hey Dis, can you repost where you get your main rotor blades? My puter went down a little while ago and I lost all my bookmarks.
Also, does anyone know what a decent charger is for say, under 100.00?
I know nothing about chargers (and there are a lot out there to choose from) and would like to be able to charge batteries for 500 scale helis in the future along with my 450 scale batteries.
Thanks,
Hope everyone is well,
Bryan

Hi Joaquin,

I sat in front of the computer yesterday and finally decided on this one.

Hopefully I'll be o.k. with it. Thanks for the reply.

Wow...what a difference a good radio makes. It took me a few days to get things figured out, but I really love being able to set my throttle and pitch curves.

I'm useing a 3800kv motor and an 11 tooth pinion and the head speed seems to be crazy fast. I just ordered a 10 tooth pinion and I'm hoping that will be a better choice.

Hello, new to the Belt-CP.
I would like to know which 450 metal head is compatible with the Belt-CP V2.
Is this one OK?
Does the tail fit also?
And if anyone knows if a 450 belt can fit, even if it needs a shorter tail boom (ohh, Ithink then it will be difficult for the head lock, it will drift).

There are alot of head/tails that are compatible. I have used a couple of differant ones and my experiance was not good until I got a HDX 450v4 head and tail. They mounted easily and work perfectly.
My bird is a V1 and not a V2 but there should be no differance with the head and tail.

Thanks for the quick reply. Very useable help.
I did a search about it though but found too little results. Do you happen to know a place that have it in stock?

Sorry it was late at night and I forgot a part of the name.It is a HDX 450SE v4. Try searching this instead and it will more than likely come up. I just looked and there were several links for them out there. If for some reason you cannot find one ty a v5.

Thanks again.

On the other hand I can`t find any such head at shops I buy from. Ihave a problem with taxes when buying from US.
So does anyone know if I can install a T-rex 450 V3 Sport head?
Or must I buy one 450 v2 head or else it can`t work?

So I changed out the 11 tooth pinion for the 10 tooth and it seems that the motor bogs when throttling up.

Hello people! >>

>>

Markus here from Sweden just registrered me here but been looking here some before for and you guys have been helpful after reading some post here, so I wanna thank you all for that. >>

>>

I would like to ask you people about a problem which is a glitch at my tail servo and about upgrading. But first I was thinking of let you know which part I got on my Esky Belt-CP V2.>>

>>

What I got:>>

>>

SPEKTRUM DX6I DSMX with the including reciver AR6210>>

HobbyWing FLYFUN Brushless ESC 40A wBec built-in (Version 4.1)>>

Stock Brushless motor>>

Stock Gyro>>

Stock Servo>>

HXT900/662 HXT900 9g / 1.6kg / .12sec Micro Servo (On The Way)>>

>>

What I plan to upgrade:>>[/b]

>>

Spartan Black Quark MEMS AVCS Gyro>>

Futaba S9257 High Speed Digital Servo (for rudder/tail)>>

>>

I am waiting for my new HXT900 servos for the moment since one of the stock servo got destroyed. So I was thinking of change all stock servo to this HXT900 after hearing much good about them and they were very cheap so its worth a try I thought.>>

>>

After I installed the Dxi6 through a guide I had problems with my tail servo, it was glitching. I heard about one here on forum with the same problem and he got the tip to change the ESC. But unfortunately that didnt help me out and I never heard about any other solution. So I think it have to be the gyro or could it be the stock servo?>>

>>

Anyway I think the HXT900 is not good enough for the rudder/tail with stock gyro. So I was thinking of this Spartan gyro and the S9257 servo, I have heard much good about them and found them for €172 ($233). Since its a lot of cash for this type of heli I just would like to hear what you guys think if its worth it and if you think it woud be a solution of my glitch problem and if this parts would work well together and with the dx6i.>>

>>

I am very grateful for all kind of answers and recommendations for me to get good hovering properties on this heli and to get it working properly.>>

>>

Sorry for my English, greetings Markus.>>
