I'm a total newbie, but am persevering with learning to fly my BELT CP.
After each accident I've tried to upgrade a little, and now I've nearly completed the CNC head assembly upgrade.
Does anyone have a picture showing the order in which all the bearing and washer parts go onto the feathering shaft of a CNC upgraded belt CP please?
Regards to all.

Thanks Druss.
I guess it'll be the T-Rex or Mini-Titan then. I'm still waiting for my HBK-II though so I better take it one step at a time :-)

Thank you.
So does that mean that the bearing assembly is exactly the same whether you're using the original plastic or the upgraded aluminium head assembly?

I finally found the correct information for the alloy CNC head build.
Don't go by the exploded view in the BELT CP manual because its different.
This link shows the order of the parts to be fitted:

Hope this helps others too!

Druss!!
Hey.... you can't build that CF CNC belt monster, and then leave us hanging!!!
Does it fly?
Is it worth the $? [>:]
I built a sort of stock one for less than $100 total from stuff I had in my basement.
Say I have Motor, ESC, Servos, and Tx/Rx laying around, I wanna know if all those parts you screwed together really fly?
Come on man, you didn't finish your job... right guys?
Seriously thanks for doing it, it's a really cool project. What did you think of the parts quality, fit, finish?
Long live Esky!
I love my Belt CP

LOL,
I'd love to get a chance to fly it but it's like -10F here in Edmonton right now, not to mention the 3 feet of snow on the ground. I don't really want to fly it in the garage just in case either, I prefer to test fly a new built heli with lots of space. I'm possibly going to go to an indoor fun fly in the next couple weeks and if I do I'll take it along and see how shes flies, get some video if I can.

I thought it was time that I also upgraded my belt CP. When I started to put it together I noticed that I didn't order the support for the belt gear and the top right frame's hole for the bearing is a little to big and it wiggles in it. I thought I had tools to take the grips off the plastic head to get the pushrods that go around the grips off, guess not. So I need a few parts to make it fly. I think the quality of the rest of the parts are great. I just got done putting thread lock on the tail section and the head assembly. Right now the frame is just hand tight until I get the rest of the parts. It was a little confusing what screws go where, but with Druss's pictures and trial and error I finally found the right spots.

It might be awhile before I fly it too. It is usually around 10 to 20 degrees with 10-15 MPH winds. But I am having a fun time building it.

I know you didnt post this to get questions like this but it seems you have some knowledge about both the Belt CP and Trex. I have hear so much about Trex i cant see straight any more. I have a Blade CP Yellow edition. I dont even know if the yellow edition means anything. I am very new to this hobby. I am now starting to perform foreward flight outside. I was flying inside a hangar that is open. The hanger is open on one side so foreward flight ends up being a diagonal flight into the walls as the wind comes in one side and back out the opposite side. It makes it a wind tunnel to say. Ok to learn how to hover but foreward flight was getting dangerous for my heli. I took my blade outside and had a blast with it. I was able to control it and keep it flying ok. I wasnt great but i could get some flights from a hover to full thrust and about 80-90 percent forward cyclic. I could stop it and bring it back to me just as aggressive as I did forward flight. I am not doing any crazy 3d stuff yet but I want to in the future. My question is how much better would a Trex 450 or 500 be for me. Should I sell my belt cp to one of my co-workers and get a Trex? If so what are the advantages I will gain. I want a belt driven tail rotor and a heli that is just as big or slightly bigger than the Belt I have now. Thanks for the help.
