Nice work Evdreamer,
You know now, those Yellow plastic parts have to go !!! they just don't suit the airframe any more...LOL !!!

cheers,
Brett
Oh and on a side note ( still related to this thread) on my Belt-CP, can I fit the CNC blade grips to my plastic head (the one on my helicopter, not my shoulders...) ??

I have read on websites it won't fit but I haven't tried it. My plastic head is all torn apart and I don't really remember how to put it back together. Oh well I shouldn't need it now. The only reason I kept the yellow fins is because I thought I could see it better than the black carbon fiber ones.

I had the Carbon fiber frame but I couldn't get an upper right frame that worked. I got 3 of them and all of them are different sizes and different size holes. I just went back to the stock one. So it has the aluminum head assembly, tail assembly, carbon fiber boom, align 35A ESC, and Rotortech blades. I would like to have it up in the air in the next couple of days.

Just as an update. This is back on the selling block. Got myself a Hirobo Lepton EX and this has to go to fund it.

I've got it listed for $450 RTF w/ the esky transmiter and receiver or the AR7000 if you have a DX7. If you have your own electronics then I can start taking things off and reducing the price.

Take a look.

Please Help

I completed the Belt CP alloy tail rotor upgrade. When I went to remount the tail servo arm on the boom, I appear to be missing the pivot cap screw which goes through the 2 bearings. The triangular boom mounted bracket appears to be threaded. I tried a 2 x 12mm screw and it was too small. I tried a 2.5 x 12mm screw and it was too large. What size could this screw be? I don't even see it in the pictures of the upgrade packages. Please help, what size is this screw?

I think the cap screw you are talking about came off the stock piece. It is a long black screw. Then the triangle mount uses two small silver screws that have a phillips head cut into them.

Thanks very much for replying. I have 2 long black caps screws left 12mm long. They are 2 mm and they slide right through the threaded hole. I tried adding a nut but it really binds the bearing.

My black screw is around 12mm. I can't get an exact measurement because it is still in the tail. I don't use a nut on mine. I just put lock-tite on it and it hasn't backed out for over 65 flights.

Thanks much for posting the picture. I know from other thread discussions there were a couple of versions of these parts. The bearing hole is definitely 2mm. So my bracket must have been intended for use with a nut. That is what I tried only I put 2 nuts on with thread lock, no washers and it seems to work. Thanks so much for your help....
Regards, Mark :-)
