Default 0406A with dual rate on Gyro for experiment

After running my Heli using the Dual rate for the gyro(Gyro channel 4 single plug in channel 5)instead of single rate(single wire disconnected)like Heli pro Bob Finless teaches, I can no longer warn against these actions with a stock radio. My heli flew like a dream. maybe I got lucky and the factory chunked my Tx into the mix with 100% gain (or a perfectly set gain). I actually felt very comfortable with the Gyro in rate mode. And switching to HH Mode was just as great an experience. I was chunking piro's in both directions in both modes very smoothly. I just wish I would have tried this sooner.

Has anyone else tried this setting with the 0406A successfully? Un-successfully? I would like to get Mythbusters on this case to get some scientific experiments to prove which way is actually best, but you guys will have to do! I would love to see Adam crashing the heli into Jamie's stupid facial hairs! That would be MONEY![sm=greedy.gif]

Peace,

Z

Default RE: 0406A with dual rate on Gyro for experiment

I just installed a new AR6100e (to go with my hew DX6i) in my Belt CP and thats made the most difference out of any mod I've ever done, made evev the stock rate gyro preform flawlessly, just put a new ESky HH gyro on it but a servo died while I was testing it so now I'm waiting for my parts to come in (I had ordered 2 servos for another project)
