Default PICS OF MY UPGRADED BELT CP

Wanted to get some opinions of my upgraded Belt CP. Upgrades include:
Trex Fiberglass Canopy
Telebee HH Gyro
Align 325mm "lighted" rotor blades
Align 35A ESC
Align White Stabilizer/Tail Fin
Navigation Lights

She is a thrill to fly!!! Not taking a chance on 3D yet! :-)

You need to crash that thing into the mud. I blinded myself looking at the "Gleem". I could see myself in the reflection on the canopy window (center picture). Nah, I can see a BBall hoop though.

Nice looking Heli CJ...Can you post some pics of the lights in action?

Do you like those rubber feet on the skids? I don't like how they make the skids stick to the pavement. I prefer a little sliding so I don't stick the landings and do an end-o on my blades.

Did the canopy and tail fins fit right on or did you have to modify them? Where did you get the canopy?

A Buddy of mine has a Belt and he was thinking of putting a Trex canopy on his.

Zim-uh-tosa and Charlie: The rubber feet do stick to the pavement and hardwood - not so on carpet. I like the look, so when I take off, it's straight up - no sliding. The mods from Align fit right on the helo - no adjustments required. I thought I'd have to modify the canopy, but I didn't. Be aware that all Trex canopies are not the same - some may require you to trim the bottom to ensure a solid fit. The canopy came from RCHover. IMO, the "bling" look adds to the helo. Fiberglass canopies are like that, which is good. I don't like DULL looking toys!!

Ok, this is not a Belt CP but it is close to the same size as one after mods....I call it the P-King Duck. The P comes from the fact that i am running a Pigeon canopy and a Pigeon Belt(slightly different than Trex 450's).

Looks pretty good - I'd change the color of the rotor blades to match the canopy. Otherwise, nice bird!!

im looking to buy a fibreglass canopy for my belt cp aswell. So the trex ones fit straight on..... u said some dont? which ones fit? I have problems with the esky canopy as i need the battery so far forward to get it balanced right and the stock canopy stretches over to fit on. Is the trex one bigger in that matter?

Lol, last thing I am worried about is the fashion police ticketing me for a mismatched color scheme on my Heli. I do however have the black blades on her now. I jumped the gun as well on a Trex blue CNC tail rotor that will not match my CNCHeli Silver. I just mounted a 12mm boom on my king 2 from the 8mm. Looks like it will work great, but not looking forward to re-finding the CG for all my batteries because of the weight difference. Pictures to come when it is back flying....

White Pulsss: All Align 450 canopys fit the Belt CP. You may have to trim the bottom on some in order for it to fit properly. Some are wide, some are narrow, and all are the same height.

Zim-uh-tosa: I'm not dogging your helo, because everyone has different tastes in the way their helo looks. I just like mine to have a common color scheme.

just putting it out there but maybe we should get a thread going with pics of our belt cp's, and maybe a list of upgrades even. I have ahuey body for mine, but when i am trying new stuff (3d flying) i dont have it on. I know i cant wait to post pics when my new trex canopy arrives and after painting the fins i would love to show it off. What does everyone think?

I totally agree. In fact, here is another pic of my Belt CP in red. I like to change every now and then - I specifically prefer the white, but the red isn't too bad either. Hey, it is a hobby!!!!!
