Default me and my esky stock gyro

Hey guys. My rate gyro on my HBK2 wont arm. It just keeps blinking untill the light go out eventually. And throught the whole time i cant move the tail servo. I checked all my trims and switches and none of thats on. Has my gyro bit the dust?

when you say you checked the trim, did you ensure that the rudder trim was center?

Your description makes it sound like you are moving the gyro during the arm process.

you must not move the rudder UNTIL the gyro is armed.

when i go to fly i center trims first then plug in battery and then i just drop everything and wait the 15 seconds for the gyro to initalise don touch anything during this time!

Make sure your battery is fully charged too - a low battery will mess up a gyros performance... If you do need to replace the gyro (they do go bad sometimes - especially the stock ones), suggest you get a HH gyro as an upgrade.

I know not to move the heli during the gyro arming, the problem is the gyro just wont initialize. During attempts to arm nothing on the remote was adjusted or moved. This problem did begin after a pretty hard crash.

drummer.
follow the wires from gyro to tail servo and receiver
if any of the wires are wrapped around them, move them somewhere and try again.
