    New Esky 900!!!

Does anyone know anything about these heli's yet? Not much info found on the net. But they are to be released on August 1st. Wanted to know what voltage they are going to be ran at. I was looking for a 500 size heli but really dont want to spend the money on 22.2v Lipo's. Was thinking of just running my 11.1's in series. Let me know what you guys think/know about the new Esky 900. Thanks, Joe

Here are the E-Sky Specs. These are not set in stone as you can see. The battery says Above 14.8v
This appears to be 550 size heli.

    RE: New Esky 900!!!

The 900 is prob going to be delayed again due to problems with the main blades, but it is a 500 size heli, 550's use 550mm blades (I didn't come up with the class' ) IMO ESky waiting too long to release this heli, currently there are something like 16 different 500 size helis already available. And HobbyCity in China just released the HK-T500 for $55 and thats a T-Rex 500 clone. ESky needs to concentrate their time and energy on getting the E-Smart back into production like they said they would.

Here is the new HK-T500 that is only $55

Later Guys, I won\'\'t be back, if you need my help google me.

    RE: New Esky 900!!!

Thank you for the info. I think I'll just save my pennies and get everything I need right from Hobbycity. Looks to be a cheap build with great quality. Great reviews and feedback so far. Have you flown the HK-T500?

    RE: New Esky 900!!!

For those who may be interested in a 500 size heli like me. I was just on HobbyCity.com where they have the HK-T500 Kit for $55. Below the kit they'll show what else is needed to make it RTF. Once everything is in the cart, including one of there cheap $35 2.4ghz radio systems, Motor, ESC, Gyro, and Servo's, it all came to $327.22 and thats with EMS shipping (3-5 day) Could go with the $46 shipping to save like $20 but I'm sure you'll be waiting 2 weeks for your goods.

As for the cheap 2.4ghz radio, one guy wrote a review and stated that on there flying feild they lost site of the guy doing the range test before they lost reception. They had nothing but good things to say about it. So for something cheap to get your new 500 up and running why not. Without 2.4ghz radio, your looking at $281.03 shipped. HELL OF A DEAL. I can't wait to place an order.
