Hey.

I have tried both Extreme blades & Airy II blades before. The Airy II blades are very flexible - not good[sm=thumbs_down.gif] Therefore get the Extremes[sm=thumbs_up.gif]

Extreme shafts also are G-R-E-A-T!! I have [link=http://www.miracle-mart.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=3391]them[/link] in all of my birds + a spare........[sm=72_72.gif]

Coax blades rotate slow enough to not really NEED a blade balance - just make sure they are not really tight in the blade grips. The correct "tightness" is loose enough so when you tilt over your heli 90ยบ, the blades will just "fall":D

No question is "to small" - ask away! Someone will know the answer.....!:)

P.S. If you want to you can weigh each blade & if they are within +/- 0.1g of each-other they are OK

I crash everyday with heli. :) I think flexible is good for me. Xtreme is not flexible you say. So Xtreme brake easily. Andx xtreme just a shaft but airy a metal upgrade set. :S I am not sure. :S

Hey again,

Xtreme inner shaft includes a longer HEAD. I tried two other extended inner shafts - and they were too brittle & broke:( I even tried making my own from three different materials..........:D
I still think the Xtreme blades will serve you well - the Airy II's are VERY flexible - but the Extremes are still flexible - just not so much that you get blade strikes when entering cyclic (the RH stick on a mode2 Tx).

BTW, everyone crashes - yes, I crash A LOT!!!:)

Hey again,

Don't be confused mate!:D
The gap between the top blades (connected to extended inner shaft) and the bottom blades (connected to outer shaft) DOES reduce blade strikes - factor in blade flexibility & head speed also. So it is not as simple as "27mm is more than 15mm - more is better". You must try it for yourself, or copy someone else's success to know!:)

The Extreme [link=http://www.miracle-mart.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=3391]15mm+ Extended Inner Shaft[/link] increases the gap enough, but go ahead and buy the [link=http://www.helipal.com/airy-turbo-kit-for-big-lama-purple.html]Airy kit[/link] - you might have success?![sm=49_49.gif] Just don't forget to threadlock the small "pins" in the square-shape of the blade-grips.......[sm=49_49.gif] You don't want them coming apart at high speed!

P.S. BTW, HongKong & China are both "closed" due to Chinese New Year Festival.........
