A Big New Giant Scale event is coming to Tucson !
Attention all serious scale modelers. On November 10 and 11 of 2012, we are holding a Giant Scale Fly-In at the same airfield where the world famous Tucson Aerobatic Shootout is held, but about 2 weeks later. The Tucson International Modelplex Park Association on the West side of Tucson, has a 750 Ft. newly paved runway, a huge ramada with over 20 tables, and electrical outlets and overhead lighting at every table. We are located on 160 acres of unobstructed land, and have ample space for camping, and vendors.
We are making every effort to make this a high quality event, and placing a minimum wing span limit of 80" for monoplanes, and 60" for multi-winged aircraft. No profile or foam models will be allowed, and no 3-D flying will be permitted at any time.
