Hope you can make it down Jeff. Running out of places to park cars would be a good problem to have. We've got enough space to get creative. The club is incredibly excited to be putting on this event.

My Feedback: (2)
Jeff,
Thanks for signing up. I am working with Tom and others on this event as I am a member of FVAC. I see you are from Farmington, MN? I have to tell you that I was raised in Faribault, MN and can't wait to meet you. I currently live in Plainfield, IL about 35 minutes from the field. Welcome!
Please feel free to share this event with your buddies up there in Minnesota.
The more the merrier!
Regards,
John

Excited to announce that Carl Bachhuber has committed to the event! Carl has built and flown some legendarily LARGE models. Here are some photos of Carl and his aircraft at a past Fox Valley Aero Club Event. We're glad to have him back!

We're now up to 22 pre-registrations. Not bad considering there's still being 3 feet of snow on the ground in Chicago. Among those schedule to join us is Lewis "The General" Patton. Lewis puts together a "little" gathering known as Kentucky Jets, which draws 200+ pilots and is thought by many to be the premier jet event in the US. We're glad to have Lewis aboard!

Hey Guys!
Just a couple things here I believe need to be said. What a GREAT event! We do a lot of shows and this one ranks right up there with the best. A well-run show by a GREAT group of fliers. One of the more friendly group of guys you will ever meet with an amazing field and just a good feeling over-all. Here's hoping we made some new friends and that they will do this again next year. Thanks to everyone for a GREAT time!

I had fun for the three days of the event. I think somebody kept saying that we should have fun. Thanks to all the people that ran this event. I thought that the guests really liked the noon time invite to talk to pilots and see the planes close up. Put this event on your books for next year people. Jeff

Dave, Chris & Jeff:
Thank you all for the kind words. We had as great a time hosting the event as you had participating in it. We are grateful to all who attended. We had 54 pilots attend with a lot of flying on all three days. Not bad for an inaugural event! Events like this are successful because you guys fly your tails off.
We've already started discussing improvements for next year and hope to have registration open soon. We should also have some pictures up soon so those that didn't attend can see what they missed...

Fox Valley Aero Club's Windy City Warbirds and Classics event was beautifully run. The flight line was smooth and safe. There was a huge charging tent so your planes are safe and guarded over night. The facility is one of the best you will ever fly at and the club members are friendly and helpful. I'm looking forward to the 2015 event already. I'll be building something special this winter.
