We're gearing up for our Spring Fly In. Here's the Flyer. The flyer has ALL the info you need. Lots of cool stuff coming. I'll keep the thread updated as I get more info. The landing fee is $17.00. The landing fees covers BOTH days of flying, AND lunch on Saturday!

For those of you who have not been to our field, here's an aerial shot. As you can see, there's PLENTY of room.

I wasn't sure everybody could see the "Yield To Low-Flying Aircraft" warning signs. So they just got replaced. There should be no question about who has the right of way....ANYTHING that is flying! And the lower, the better!

3 weeks away! There are still more sponsors rolling in. If you haven't been to our field, put us on your plans of places to fly at. I promise you won't be disappointed.

Here's a picture of the door prizes, along with the raffle prize (Special Thanks to our LHS, Orange Grove Hobbies) and there are a few others. I'll explain later. I'm going to go ahead and fill you in on something. Tony, with Pilot RC, has been very generous.

Here's what Pilot RC has offered:

One gift certificate for a 40% Extra 260 for $999.00, with the wing bag (not including shipping). That's over $700 off.

And four gift certificates for a 6 pack each of his new PY-20AL servos (277.7 torque oz @ 6.0 Volts) for $299 SHIPPED! Uh, that's a $180 savings!

Wow, this event is getting better and better! I have some really cool news, for you heli rotor heads! hang out till Sunday, because, it's official. A Main Hobbies has posted on their web site, that their heli traveling demonstration team will be at our field on Sunday June 15th, 2014. The team will do a flight demo, help anybody with setups, and have some cool stuff to give away.

Here's A Main Hobbies link:

My apologies for getting to this so late. Things were hectic after the Fly In.

I would like to say thank you to the members of MCRCC, if it were not for all of you...the Fly In and the continuing Fly Ins would not be possible (nor would they be any where near as successful as they are). So thank you!

To the people who traveled to our Fly In, Thank You! You are the reason why we have the events. It's nice to see friends we only get to see a couple of times a year. All of you are always welcome at our field, anytime.

And to the sponsors. Thank You so much for helping. You have no idea what it does for people to come, fly, eat, have a good time and leave with something cool they did not come with. Thank You again, and we look forward to continuing our relationships!

A Main Hobbies dropped in, the Sunday following the Fly In.
