[TD]Warbirds Over The Bay - July 26 & 27, 2014
The Burlington Radio Control Modelers will once again be hosting " Warbirds Over The Bay " at the Bayview Park Model Airport, 1600 King Road, Burlington, overlooking beautiful Burlington Bay.
Flying will be from the clubs newly extended 400 x 30ft blacktop runway or if you prefer the same size grass runway alongside and is open to all military aircraft, any era, any size, helicopters and jets are welcome.
Camping is available ( no hook ups ) but power for charging and toilets are available at the field. Food will be available all weekend.
There is ample space for sun tents and lots of parking for both pilots and spectators. Raffles and pilot draws will be taking place through the weekend plus noon time combat flying and night flying with a fireworks display.
Open Military flying from 9.00 AM to 4:00 PM Saturday and 10.00 AM to 2.00 PM Sunday at which time Pilot prizes will be awarded and Raffles drawn.
Pilot Registration starts on Friday evening and 8.30 AM Saturday and Sunday. Pre-Registration before July 1st is $10.00 and $15.00 after that date.
Pre-Registration can also be done on-line through our website at http://www.brcm.org with the use of PayPal
Come for the weekend, there are numerous Hotels and Restaurants within 10 minutes of the field, but camping will be the most fun. Come and join in the fun.
Event major sponsors are MAAC and Skycraft Hobbies of Burlington, and a host of others.
