John Ostmeyer Memorial Scale Fly-in August 15-16, 2015 (Kansas City)

[TD="class: alt2"]We lost a dear friend and club member last September in a motorcycle accident. John Ostmeyer was one of our most active club members, he ran the US Scalemaster Contest at our field for 26 years. He loved Giant Scale planes of all types, (Aerobatic, Warbirds, Etc.) So instead of having the Kansas City Huckfest in 2015 we have decided to call our event the John Ostmeyer Memorial Scale Fly-in. Proceeds to Support the Brain Injury Association of America.
Any type or size of Scale RC Airplane are welcome (Warbirds, Aerobatic, Civilian, Gas, Electric, Etc.)

Location: Hillsdale Lake State Park
(Just South of Olathe Kansas, Southside of Kansas City)
Take Hwy 169 to the Hillsdale Lake Exit at 255th Street. Turn west and drive through the town of Hillsdale. At the four-way stop, continue straight ahead. After crossing the dam, take the first gravel road on the left. Follow the Signs to the field. Full Hookup Camping Sites available at the Lakes Campground.
AMA Membership is required to fly, Spectators Welcome
