Okay all you flight jockeys, it's countdown time to the Southeastern Model Show! I believe this one will be a blast. Whatcha planning on bringin? and what are ya lookin for? I'm selling a 50cc ESM Corsair that's ready to "Rock n Roll", a 1/6 scale Fun Aero WWI Albatross, A Multiplex Pilatus Porter and an E-flite Super Cub. All are ready to go, just add your receiver! Plus other Odds and Ends. See Y'all There!

I'm going. Bringing nothing but food and a pocket full of cash. I'm looking for a ton of things but this year I may try and pick up a few glow engines (Fox being my favorite flavor). I will try not to buy any kits but if a Midwest Super Stinker shows up I might grab it.

I was thinking the same thing. In years past there were numerous Perry related posts but not so this year. I have seen several items in the classifieds that the seller says can be delivered at the Perry swap meet.
I use the show to stock up on all the little items needed when building new models. Will be picking up an order from Micro-Fasteners, looking for some 18x6 props, 1/5th scale pilots, any Super Coverite that might show up, and a built ready to fly Don Smith B-17 for under 50 bucks.
I am planning on bringing an extra suitcase of money to take advantage of all the getting out of the hobby rather than register with the FAA deals

Brace yourself when you get there. 3 buildings full plus inbetween them there is a lot of stuff for sale too. Everytime you get near a window or door in any building take a peek outside. I saw a 1/2 scale sukhoi parked outside one year.
I saw hundreds and hundreds of glow engines last year. Got a huge Moki with a little dirt on it for $30.

I picked up several brand new engines and a few items I had on my grocery list. Prices were all over the place as usual but I got lucky with a few deals. I didn't see the demonstrations as in past years but didn't really go out of my way to find them. Were the free flight planes in the 4th building? Also didn't see a control line demo.
It seemed like the professional vendors weren't as numerous and a few regular sellers were missing too. However; all in all it was a great event. I'll be there next year.
