2017 - 2018 North Indianapolis Indoor Flying Season - 20 Saturday Night Fly-in Events
It's nearly that time of the year again! We have 20 Saturday night indoor fly-in events scheduled this season at Roundtripper Sports Academy (RSA) in Westfield, Indiana. RSA is an indoor baseball practice facility with a very spacious flying area at 130' x 150' x 35'. The ground surface at RSA is comprised of artificial turf. We kick off the season on November 4. Pilot fees per event are the same as last year, $12.00 for pilots 10 years and older, $6.00 for pilots under 10 years and a maximum fee of $25.00 for families. Spectators are welcomed and are free.
We are offering season passes for a discount of 10% off regular pilot fees. Season passes may be purchased any time during the fly-in season and will be pro-rated on the number of fly-in events remaining. If you purchase a season pass, refunds will not be given for any fly-ins in which you can't attend or for fly-ins that are cancelled due to poor weather. Please do not purchase a season pass, unless you intend on attending the majority of the fly-in events. Please email or call me if you are interested in purchasing a season pass.
I've also had many people over the past couple of years ask me if I would consider accepting other forms of payment other than cash. I'm happy to announce that in addition to cash, all major credit cards, Apple Pay, Android Pay, and PayPal will be accepted at the door.
Fly-in starting times will vary from week to week . Starting times will be emailed, broadcasted via Twitter/Instagram (@rcjimn) and here in this thread one to two days prior to each fly-in. Please email me at [email protected] to be placed on starting time email notification list. As in past years, we are allowed to fly as late as we choose each Saturday night. See attached flyer with schedule and other pertinent information. We look forward to another successful indoor flying season!

Tomorrow night's (Dec 9) indoor flying begins at 8:00 pm. General flying begins at 8:00 pm and drone racing course setup/racing begins at 11:30 pm.

Tomorrow night's (Dec 16) indoor flying begins at 7:00 pm. General flying begins at 7:00 pm and setup/drone racing begins at 11:00 pm. Also, below is a video from our indoor flying a couple of weeks ago.
