Willow Grove Airshow!
Hey guys,
I was debating whether to put this in full scale or this, but chose this cuz it's more of an "Event/Show"
The Willow Grove 'Air Fest' is This weekend, May 28th and 29th, at the Willow Grove Naval Reserve Base in Willow Grove PA. This may very well be the last one because it is on the list of closing bases. I along with a others on the Alpha Squadron Show Team will be flying some giant scale R/C planes at 9am and 12pm both saturday and sunday. The show starts Thursday with a Free Lonestar concert (for all dem Country Fans! like me ) and then friday is a twilight show with pyrotechnics and aerobatics. Then the gates open at i think 9 am, maybe 8, on saturday and sunday, for 2 days of military and civil displays, with the Blue Angels flying at 3pm.

Oh the memories! I used to go to that show every year when I was a kid. The Blue Angels were flying F-4's.
The last time I was there someone left a static display S3 viking ejection seat unpinned. Some kid (predicibly) pulled the handle and sent him and the seat through the windshield and into the crowd. They didn't have an airshow there (or even a picnic to my knowlege) for many years.
