We are fast approaching our annual Warbirds Over Delaware event coming
up July 13th through the 16th.
Pilot Pre-registration and Vendor Registration has been open for over
6 months and the committees are busy processing the registrations.
Important: The cut-off date for pilot pre-registration and vendor
registration will be Saturday July 1. No pre-registration forms will
be processed after this date. If you are intending to pre-register as
either a pilot or a vendor please do so prior to the cut-off dates.
Registration forms are available at:
http://www.delawarerc.org/warbirds.htm
Thanks,
Brian Pasternak

RE: Warbirds Over Delaware 2006
Warbirds Over Delaware is less than a week away (July 13 – 16). The Delaware R/C Club will start setting up the field on Tuesday afternoon.
We have had a lot of rain over the last 2 weeks. However, our flying site is in great condition.
Local weather conditions can be viewed at:
http://www.weather.com/weather/local/USDE0028
A 10-day outlook is available at:
http://www.weather.com/weather/local/USDE0028
Just a reminder that a valid AMA (or MAAC) and IMAA are needed to fly at Warbirds Over Delaware. You can join the IMAA at the event.
As you may know, our event is growing every year and space is a premium. So, we ask all pilots to follow these points:
1. Only 1 vehicle per registered pilot will be allowed to park overnight at the R/C field.
2. A self-contained RV is required for overnight parking at the R/C field.
3. RV’s should park along the southwest cornfield (unless participating in Saturday’s Half-Time Show).
4. After unloaded, trailers must be stored along the designated areas.
5. All vehicles will need an event pass displayed on the driver’s side dashboard. Event passes will be distributed at registration.
6. The Park will collect camping fees from overnight RV campers. You will not be charged for the park fee, see the registrar for the rebate.
7. Landing Fee includes all Park fees and Saturday Pilot BBQ for registered pilot. Additional BBQ tickets will be available for purchase.
8. “After hours” flying will be restricted to electric flight this year to give our neighbors at the campground a respite from noise. Fly anything you want, as long as it’s electric!
9. Bring chairs, sunscreen, sunglasses, hats, weather gear, etc.
10. Have fun! Please let us know of any problems and/or concerns.
See you at Warbirds Over Delaware!
