taylor missouri labor day airshow
The new year has arrived and found our R/C Club with an unique situation.
We used to share our field with a grass strip full size airport. This is not
happening anymore. The owners of the property desided to close the airport
and create a not for profit ranch. This has in no way affected the R/C Club or
Top Hat R/C Junction Hobby Shop. The airport has been shortened and a larger
lake is being created to the west of the buildings. We wish all the luck to the new
His Ranch (hisranch.org). We are looking forward to the up coming airshow here
scheduled for labor day weekend.

WOW I have not been out to Taylor for a few years. It would be odd to go out there and not see everybody do'n the bean dip (a process where the tail magically disappears in to the corn or soy bean field)

This is one event that my family and I made every year before we moved to Arizona 10 years ago. It was the highlight of the year and we always enjoyed it.

i don't have any planks but i will be going to observe. i just started into the rotary flight thing, but i'm interested in a plank bird as well. maybe something at the swap meet. i just really started into RC stuff, and now have 6 trucks and 3 helis. looking forward to it. when i was a kid i can remember my grandpa going out there and flying and taking the family with him. i remember it as enjoyable, hopefully it will be still 15-20 years later.
