You are welcome to come by our field anytime as well. We have a 400 paved runway and pavillion. We will also be having a large fly-in in May at Courtland Air Base between Huntsville and Florence. Drop me a line when you are coming over we would love to have you as our guest as well.

We are locateded just east of Ford City in Muscle Shoals. If you were to go to our website there is an excelent Map-quest map link. The field you referenced just off Woodward puts you faceing the sun all the time you are flying, at our field the sun warms your back.
Looking forward to seeing you.
Come on down to our swap meet.

RE: North Alabama Swap Meet
I fly a 105" cub in military colors and love it. It's a World Models ARF. I cracked it up last summer and was going to can it when one of our members ask if he could take it and rebuild it for me. He pulled all the yellow covering off and after rebuilding the air frame recovered it in militaty colors. Pictures on our website. [link]http://colbertrcflyers.com[/link].
This same member has a texan and say's he loves to fly it, the only problem I have seen is that the landing gear is not wide enough causing it to be un-stable on the ground and does not do well on a grass runway.
Looking forward to meeting you.

I have a hanger 9 t-6. It has a saito 80. It is one of the sweetest flying planes i have. i flew it at your field last sept. at the warbird fly in. i also flew my 1/5 scale p-47 there. We didn't have bill's cub ready for that show but it is sweet. it has a saito 1.6 twin cyl four stroke.

RE: North Alabama Swap Meet
Hey, load up some of those ARF's and bring them to our swap meet, Buy a lot in Perry and bring that also. So far it looks like we will have a pretty good meet. I have already reserved several tables and it's still early.
Good luck and happy flying if the wind allows tommorow.

RE: North Alabama Swap Meet
Jugflyer, his son Josh and I went to the Madison County R/C Swap Meet Last Saturday. Looked like a pretty good size crowd, lot of good buys.
Several of the dealers that were there reserved tables for our meet on the 31st of March. Looks like we may have near a full house.
Check out our website for full information and a map.

RE: North Alabama Swap Meet
Glad you had a good time Larry, I am proud we had such a large turn-out of sellers. Ther were no empty tables. We were a little shy on buyers but I think most sellers did ok. I sold almost everything I had, bought a few items also.
Thanks to all that came, both buyers and sellers.
