-2006-
-Only 30 Day notice of the contest to the club
-65 registered pilots and 58 show up
-19 Sponsors
-At least 2 prizes per pilot
-Everything ran smoothly
-Dust devil, just to keep it interesting
-Raffle for a 100CC Ultimate open to anyone (you just paid shipping if you won)
-Aerotech 50cc Yak raffled to the pilots
-Plaques through 5th place
-2007-
-We had Wind.....in the 30-35 range but we still had a great contest
-72 pilots registered, 47 flew in the wind
-26 sponsors (only rivaled by the TAS!)
-Awesome Plaques 1st-5th place
-Max lost to a 10yr old in Basic!
-I did it all for the Pilots
So what is in store for 2008?
-My last SW contest I will CD :212:, as I will be moving in the summer
-I expect 1 more sponsor than last time
-I plan to hit the 60 pilot flown mark
-1-5 places at least
-We will crown an overall champion (working on the format for that now)
-I am going to try to get SCORE graphs for everyone at the end of rounds.
-News coverage
-Getting Max to fly again! (the kid moved up, so he has a shot at winning)
-I'm going to try something similar to TAS as far as a work schedule for everyone
-Last thing.......a smile on every pilots face as they have fun, Win or Lose!
