I repeat Clyde's comment on the WBOGC... the Sooner Squad had a good time as well. Other than our own Jumbo... that's the first time we had been able to get all four trailers to another travel event in four years. Hope it's a repeat for you guys for the next several year(s). The people were great, the field looked good and the chow was excellent as well. Glad to hear the Blue Star Mothers had a good successful day. And send out a big Thank you to the many sponsors and the great prizes they donated. Even the Sooner Squad left town with some of the goodies...!! Even with the heat and a dash of the standard Oklahoma breeze... it was a good gathering...!!!

As you boys know i had such a good time at the event i am providing the Best In Show Trophy for 2011. She came in last night and the placard is currenly being made for it now thanks to some help from Stan. Heres a photo of it.

Don't forget about West Texas Warbirds coming up August 6th-8th at our club field near Lubbock, TX!
I have a block of hotel rooms held at the Quality Inn a a special rate until the 31st of July, so hurry and get your reservations.

A more than generous donation from the Texas gang and especially 'Wylie Warbirds'. Thanks... the 'Best in Show' pilot trophy is appreciated and gratefully accepted. The winner of this will be proud to place it on his mantle after the WBOOK 2011 gathering..!! Of course, the 'Best in Show' trophy comes with braggin' rights attached.
