Default diesel fuels

i am new to this so here it goes about 6 weeks ago i started on a project after reading and studying and built 2 diesels and after a little bit of work i managed to make them run the first was a magnum xls 32 the second was a os max 46. heres the thing i did not use kero either or caster which are hard to come by or expensive. instead i used commerical diesel fuel and motor oil and it ran great . later on i did figure out that a prime of either did help with starting. now my engines aint the best i just jb welded the head to the desired compression. i got several videos just havent posted them yet i will try later on . well have fun

ps 20% motor oil
80% commerical diesel

Congratulations on your first model diesel engine and even managed to run your engine without ether.

Difficult to start the engine without ether with pure autodiesel ?

That is pretty cool that you got thewm to work without ether in the fuel.
Congratulations on your first diesel engine experiences.

castor hard to get kero and ether expensive. gallon of this mix of fuel 5$ US. and i did inspect every thing after 5 hours running could not find any hard wear. matter of fact the wear looked worse in my glow engines.just as a trial i did get it to run off of veggie oil too but could not get it to go full throttle. oil would not flow through the line fast enough. well if anyone else has any diffrent ideas might try them its just trial and error right now

The auto diesel is a lubricant for the injection pump and injector in the diesel engine in automobile hence the fuel with 80% diesel and 20% motor oil is a oily fuel to keep the engine well lubricated against wear and the engine is not hot compared with the glow plug engine.

Nice pics. For videos, you need to upload the videos to a servicer that will hold them for you. Youtube.com is one, Photobucket.com is another and so on.
