Default Finally flew!

After 38 years away from control line, I did 4 flights this weekend on a SkyRay 35, powered by a PAW .29. What a great runner! It would go nearly 5 minutes on a 2 1/2 oz. tank, just purring right along. I took it easy, and didn't do any stunts, though that will come. Fun!

Question: what is the best tubing to use for exhaust routing? I have some black vinyl tube that just collapses and melts through after a few runs. Thanks!

At first I was going to suggest using the higher temperature resistant silicon tubing. Like this one from Dubro for example. it comes in several sizes too.
But the kerosine might cause it to go bad like gasoline does. But I haven't tried it though, it might work.

That might do the trick! I have aluminum tube to extend it as far as I want. I have one of those on another engine, I'll try it for fit. Thanks!

I think most, if not all of the kerosene should be burned up in the engine, so silicone should survive.

Pe is correct. Black automotive vacuum fuel or cooling hose. Vacuum is sometimes thinner and lighter.

Silicon works for the exhaust too.
