remember that some of the substitutes for Amyl Nitrate are very corrosive so you might want to flush the engine with kerosene and oil it after running.

Is acquiring some Amsoil Cetane Boost (2-EHN) out of the question? Did you call the Aussie distributor to see if there is a local stockist?
Have you checked with some local T/R or combat flyers? Ask politely and I am sure someone would have some to spare ...

Ive got some Amsoil on the way, may take a week or so .

In the meanwhile try some Wombat urine. Actually it's very rich in complex Nitrate compounds.
You do need about 5% for it to be effective but otherwise it works really well.
Should be easy to get out your way with all those Wombat Studs around.

Ive enough Improver for a 0.025 % mix , so I will run that, I think that it would be safe to run 2% WD40 , after reading some of Andy W posts but nothing else

I'm not sure that this will help you, but ... use the Cetane improvers that are sold for use in diesel-engined cars. Many garages will stock these; I presume you don't live a hundred miles from the nearest decent garage.

Funny you should mention WD40 123Cat. I’ve had more than one engine start for a few seconds while turning it over to spread the WD40 throughout the insides. Great fun while holding them in your hand in the kitchen in front of the Missis.

Well, Cat, at least you have high Summer this time of year... DII is less critical in comfortable warm weather, tho still a lot of help.
Luck! I wonder what the postal and import authorities would think - or worse: do - if the sniffer dogs alerted to a packet of Wombat Urine... You have a death penalty down there for criminal convicts? (No offense intended......)

No death penalty in Australia since the mid 60's.
